Wow I love the exterior stonework... and that copper ceiling! Gorgeous! Hope she gets it.

Oh wow, that is sweet! Best of luck to your daughter. Suggest she write a heartfelt letter to the seller? (It worked for me :)

That shouldn't be necessary, she's going in with a strong offer, and the house has been on the market almost two years.
It has a very tiny bathroom (that's not a full size tub in the pic), very tiny kitchen, and a short upper floor with a staircase you have to stoop at the top to climb. It's not a family home, not more than two short, skinny people could live there comfortably. It's only going to sell to a particular buyer.
My daughter is five foot tall, weighs 90 some pounds, and wears a size two shoe. She's the perfect buyer.

What a stunning house. Soooo much character. Nothing beats the charm and detail of an older home. I love the stones and the bathroom floor.

They countered, she accepted...contingent on inspections, of course.
I feel like it's too soon to yell wahoo, but WAHOO!

Congratulations to your daughter. Will you get to sleep in the blue room when you stay overnight?

You mean Mom's room? Absolutely!

I love it!! I wish I could buy a house like that, but my husband wouldn't fit in it (he's 6'3"), and there aren't many older houses like that around here. Is it far from your house?

It's in a small town 20 minutes away from us and the city. Still close, but not too close.

Keli, congratulations to both of you! And now you will have an extra room to put doll's house stuff in, for sure.

Ohhhh...tentative congratulations! Good luck on the inspection.

It's a perfect little fairy tale home!
It's been waiting on Kate, making itself too tiny for anyone else who looked at so it could belong to someone petite enough to suit it.
That yard, too, and the garage - it's just perfect!

It does have plenty of room for cats, though, doesn't it?

Oh, yes!

Your comment about it not being big enough for a family makes me laugh. Obviously you've never lived in an apartment in NYC.
It's a very charming cottage. Tell your daughter congratulations.

Hi Keli,
I've been away for a few weeks.
Congratulations to your daughter, it is such an exciting time for her I am sure. I wonder if she will walk in and think "what have I done!"
No going back and soon she will make it her own. Wonderful. Nice that you are only 20 minutes away.
All the best.
